Four Bhikkhunis, Ayya Gunasari, Ayya Ahimsa, Ayya Suvanna, and Ayya Kosalla, announced the new Simma Boundary this past Uposatha day. The Simma Boundary is in the Dhamma hall (meditation hall) and just outside of it where other Sangha members can hear it and attend together. Dhamma hall has taken more than two years to complete after planning began in October 2017 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Mahapajapati Monastery with Ayya Gunasari and Ayya Kosalla. It is not a perfect facility; however, now more people than ever can use the meditation center to sit in the space and do walking meditation in the Myanmar tradition.
Winter retreat for the Sangha begins in December 2020 and runs into February 2021 for a total of 90 days. The Dhamma Letter will continue to be sent every week. All can meet through the Dhamma at anytime. If you have any questions, please contact Mahapajapati through our website.
We, the Mahapajapati Sangha, appreciate all of the donors who supported the construction of Dhamma Hall, patio, and all auxiliary additions. Without your support, we could never spread and share the Dhamma now and for all those who wish to practice Dhamma in the future.
Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu to all!
May you be well and happy!
The Mahapajapati Bhikkhuni Sangha
